Performances:

Samantha Akkineni who is one of the finest performers of Telugu cinema steps out with one more convincing role with U Turn. She has been apt and she has been perfect. Right from her body language, dressing and looks, Samantha matched herself and delivered her best. Aadhi Pinisetty has been quite supportive and he struggles as a honest cop. Rahul Ravindran has been decent and all the other actors have been apt in their assignments.

U Turn has an interesting plot but it is the pale screenplay and narration that kills the entire film. The screenplay and dialogues have been just ok. The background score has been decent and the cinematography work should be well appreciated. The production values have been apt and director Pawan Kumar fails to recreate the magic in Tollywood.

Final Word:

U Turn is a boring thriller which fails to impress because of the slow pace and lean conflict point. Samantha and the lead actor shine perfectly but this alone could not save the film.
