Kannada actor Yash and his team created huge buzz all over with the trailer of KGF. The film directed by Prashant Neel features Yash, Srindhi Shetty and Malavika Avinash in the lead roles. Hamble Films produced KGF and the film released across the globe today in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages. Here is the complete review of KGF:

Story:

KGF is the story of Rocky (Yash) who hails from a lower class family. Dreaming big in life, he moves to Mumbai. He soon makes a prominent place in Mumbai mafia and gets knocked with several big crime deals. It is then he gets a lucrative deal to kill KGF, a big wig in Gold Mafia in Bengaluru. The rest of the film is all about the deal and what happens next forms the entire story of KGF. Watch the film to know about the relation of Rocky with KGF.

Positives:

Yash and his performance

Presentation of episodes

Action blocks

Cinematography

Production Values

Negatives:

Slow pace

Too much mass appeal

Overdose of action

Flat second half

Zero entertainment

Performances:

Yash has been outstanding in the role and does it with perfection. His transformation has been top notch and his screen presence has been stunning. He excelled in the action episodes well. Srinidhi Shetty looks cute and delivered out a decent performance in the film. Tamannaah's item song has been good and all the other actors did well in their roles.

KGF lacks a strong plot and is laced up with an unusual revenge drama. The screenplay looks pale and the dialogues look decent. The cinematography work and the grand production values are the major highlights of the film. The music has been ok and the background score elevated the film well. Prashanth Neel misused a golden opportunity through KGF and could not convince the audience.

Verdict:

KGF fails to live up the expectations because of the flat second half and the poor narration. Yash nails it in style throughout.
