Kudi Yedamaithe Review | Pawan Kumar who directed interesting thrillers like Lucia and U Turn worked on a web series Kudi Yedamaithe. The web series is now streaming on Aha and it has Rahul Vijay, Amala Paul in the lead roles. People Media Factory and Pawan Kumar Studios produced Kudi Yedamaithe jointly and Aha acquired the streaming rights for a decent price. Here is the review of Kudi Yedamaithe:

Story:

Kudi Yedamaithe is the story of Durga (Amala Paul), a cop in Hyderabad and Aadi (Rahul Vijay), a food delivery agent. They are related through a dream which makes them stand on the same day for two days. A series of incidents unite them and the rest of Kudi Yedamaithe is all about how their dreams are related to a series of crimes in the city. Watch Kudi Yedamaithe to know about the complete story and how the thrills unfold.

Positives:

Amala Paul and Rahul Vijay
Thrilling aspects
Plot
Last three episodes
Technical aspects
Production values

Negatives:

Boring and stretched
Repeated scenes and episodes
No commercial aspects

Performances:

Amala Paul plays a cop who suffers with a drinking problem. She plays her part well which comes with a modern touch. She performed well and delivered the best performance till date. Her role comes with a rustic touch. Rahul Vijay is the other highlight of the film. He looks sensible and goes with the mood. He looks perfect in the role of Aadi, a struggling youngster who dreams big of turning an actor. There are lot of actors in the film and they have less screen presence and no prominence.

Kudi Yedamaithe comes with an interesting plot. The screenplay is the major highlight of the web series and the dialogues are decent. The music and background score makes the show breathtaking. The cinematography is the major asset of Kudi Yedamaithe. The production values are great and the quality is outstanding. Director Pawan Kumar comes with one more interesting attempt which is gripping and equally boring.

Verdict:

Kudi Yedamaithe is gripping for most of the time and it is even boring as some of the episodes are in repetitive mode. An interesting attempt with some packed performances.
