Poor writing and direction
Dragged second half
Dirty Hari is inspired by the Hollywood movie Unfaithful. The first half makes an okay watch but the second half is a huge mess. The entire second half looks dragged and the erotic angle dominates the film. The climax portions are good but that alone cannot save the film. Shravan Reddy makes an impressive debut and he does his part well. Ruhani Sharma plays her part well and looks confident in the assignment. Simrat Kaur turns a treat to watch and she keeps the temperatures soaring. Ajay makes an impression with a single episode. All the other actors did their best.
Dirty Hari has nothing much to say about the plot. The narration is quite predictable except the climax twist. The first half of the film is passable but the second half turns out to be a boring feast. The writing is pale and below average. The music fails to make an impact but the background score sounds decent. The cinematography work is ok and the production values are grand. MS Raju bags one more failure as a director with Dirty Hari.
Dirty Hari is one more pale attempt from MS Raju but he managed to capture the erotic content in style. The film offers nothing much.
Dirty Hari Movie Review &Rating : 2/5
Tamannaah’s 11th Hour falls flat
Tamannaah’s 11th Hour | Milky beauty Tamannaah is making her debut into digital space with 11th Hour. Directed by Praveen Sattaru, the film is a corporate drama and it released on the digital platform Aha recently. Tamannaah was aggressively promoting 11th Hour all over from the past one week. 11th Hour takes a decent start but it falls flat because of the outdated drama and boring narration. The narration in the second half is quite slow and the climax episodes are not convincing. The lead characters are not well designed and there are several logics that missed.
The technical aspects are not hard-hitting but the background score is decent. The production values are good. 11th Hour will not make an impressive watch and can be given a skip even on the digital platform. Adith Arun, Madhusudhan Rao and Jayaprakash deliver good performances. Tamannaah dazzles in the lead role and does a decent job. Praveen Sattaru fails to impress the audience with 11th Hour as the film offers nothing much.
Drishyam 2 Review: Mohanlal recreates the Magic
Drishyam 2 Review | Drishyam, a small Malayalam movie was a sensation in Indian cinema after it released in 2013. Years after that, the sequel for the movie is out. Drishyam 2 features Mohanlal, Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Murali Gopi in the lead roles. Jeethu Joseph who directed the prequel helmed Drishyam 2. Aashirvad Cinemas produced Drishyam 2 and the film is now streaming on Amazon Prime. Here is the review of the film:
Story: Drishyam 2 is the story of Georgekutty (Mohanlal) and his family who are facing the charges of the murder of Varun, a youngster and the son of a cop. Years after the incident, there would be no clue but Georgekutty and his family gets blamed for the crime. The film is all about the challenges they face and how Georgekutty and his family overcome the pain and lead a happy life. Watch Drishyam 2 to know about the drama:
Jeethu Joseph’s writings
Performances: Mohanlal is the major highlight of the film and he carries the entire film on his shoulders. The actor strikes hard with his expressions as he is given nothing to speak much. Meena is perfect as a housewife who is quite concerned about her family. The daughters Anisba Hassan and Esther Anil did their parts well. Murali Gopy is the new addition of the film as the Inspector General in the film who stages a hunt to unfold the mystery. All the other actors have limited screen presence and they did their parts well.
Drishyam 2 has a lean plot which is continued from the first part. The twists and the screenplay portions are written well. The dialogues are good and the second half of the film is well penned. The editing is good and so is the cinematography work. The only song is decent and the background score packs a punch. The production values are good. Jeethu Joseph takes the entire credit and steals the show for making the sequel an engaging one. His writing work and presentation will be remembered.
Final Word: Drishyam 2 is a perfect sequel for the original and it lives up the expectations. Mohanlal strikes hard with his performance and Jeethu Joseph wins the hearts with his writing and direction.
