Sankranthi 2021: No prominent Telugu releases? | Tollywood has lost the complete year of 2020 because of the coronavirus. Though the government granted permission to reopen the theatres, most of them are shut as there are no proper releases planned and announced. The entire Tollywood is eagerly waiting for the theatres to reopen and witness the occupancy to announce their release dates. With December arriving and with no proper developments around, there are talks that most of the released Sankranthi movies will head for a summer release.

There are strong talks that Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab needs to recover huge amounts and its release for Sankranthi is uncertain. The same is the case with Ram’s RED and Ravi Teja’s Krack. Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story, Nithiin’s Rang De and Akhil’s Most Eligible Bachelor may head for a digital release and the talks are on. Going with the updates, Sankranthi 2021 is expected to have no prominent releases and the audience will have to wait for summer to witness a good chart of films.
