A petition against Vishal filed in Madras High Court |Young Tamil actor Vishal landed into a series of controversies in the recent months. The actor’s last film Action which was planned on a big-budget ended up as a dud and left the producers Trident Arts in heaps of losses. The makers inked an agreement with Vishal about bearing the losses if the film fails to cross collecting Rs 20 crores in its theatrical run in Telugu and Tamil languages. Vishal signed the agreement for the same and the makers now approached the Madras High Court.
Vishal has to repay an amount of Rs 8.29 crores for the producers but he never paid the amount. Vishal promised the producers that he would do one more film but he proceeded with Anandan and completed Chakra. The film is gearing up for a digital release soon. Trident Arts filed a petition in the Madras High Court to resolve the issue and to stop the release of Chakra till the issue gets settled. The High Court is expected to hear Vishal’s version soon and announce their verdict.
