Nani’s V Movie Review: A Shoddy Attempt | V Movie Rating | Natural Star Nani pinned many hopes on V, an action thriller and the film is directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti. Nani plays the role of a serial killer while Sudheer Babu essays the role of a top cop. The film is a cat and mouse race between the lead actors. Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Hydari are the leading ladies in V. Dil Raju produced the film. Amit Trivedi is the music director and Thaman composed the background score. The film is currently streaming on Amazon Prime. Here is our honest review about the film:
V is the story of Vishnu (Nani), a well trained and highly rated Army official. An unexpected incident makes him a serial killer and he commits a series of crimes that are involved in the murder of his wife Saheba (Aditi Rao Hydari). V is all about the heinous act and how Vishnu manages to nab all the culprits and kill them. DCP Aditya (Sudheer Babu) tries his best to save them but falls short. The rest of the story is all about how it happens. Watch V to know about the series of murders and the real backstory behind the crime.
Nani and Sudheer Babu
Poor plot and narration
Outdated and predictable presentation
Nani does his part well but he is not completely convincing in this action thriller. The role of psycho has enough shades from several Hollywood flicks and is not a clean surprise for the audience. Right from his looks to the body language, Nani’s role reminds us about various Hollywood films. Sudheer Babu looks honest and his screen presence is good. He does his part well but Nani’s character dominates from the first frame to the last. Aditi Rao Hydari looks simple, beautiful in her crisp role. Nivetha Thomas has a meaty role which has no prominence. Thanikella Bharani and Vennela Kishore does their parts well. All the other actors have been good in their roles.
V is a film that has nothing new with the story, backstory and the narration. The film’s screenplay makes no impact and the second half of the film looks shoddy. The dialogues are just ok. The songs are not great but a couple of songs look good on screen. The background score is decent and the production values are good. The editing should have been better. The cinematography work should be appreciated and is the savior. Mohana Krishna Indraganti fails to handle an action thriller and he is good at delivering sensible films.
Verdict: Nani’s V Movie Review: A Shoddy Attempt
V is a total misfire and falls short of expectations because of the poor and pale presentation. The second half is utterly disappointing. Nani and Sudheer Babu did their parts well.
