Speculation: Manchu Manoj to lock horns with NTR

From the past couple of days, there are strong speculations that young actor Manchu Manoj will play the role of the lead antagonist in NTR’s next film that would be directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The project will start rolling soon after NTR completes his work for RRR. The makers are tightlipped about the news and the news is spreading all over. Manoj too is on a break and he is soon making his comeback with Aham Brahmasmi.

Trivikram as of now is busy with the script work and he may be considering Manchu Manoj’s name but nothing is finalized as of now. The entire Tollywood is shut and is waiting for the coronavirus outbreak to calm down to resume the shoots. NTR will have to sweat out for RRR and complete the shoot to start Trivikram’s project. Haarika and Hassine Creations, NTR Arts are the producers.

Nithiin’s next gets a Record Deal

With the coronavirus taking a toll all over, several filmmakers are selling off the non-theatrical rights of their upcoming movies well in advance. Some of them are closing the deals even before their films are launched and some of them are heading for a direct digital release as the theatrical situation is pathetic. Nithiin delivered two duds this year with Check and Rang De. The actor is done with the shoot of Maestro and the film will have a direct digital release soon.

Nithiin signed a film in the direction of Vakkantham Vamsi which is an action entertainer. The film will have its launch in September and the shoot commences in October. The makers closed the entire non-theatrical rights of this film for Aditya Music for a record price of Rs 21 crores. The deal includes the music, digital and satellite rights of the film including the Hindi dubbing rights. N Sudhakar Reddy and Tagore Madhu will jointly produce the film and this untitled movie releases next year.

Allu Arjun to dub for Pushpa in Tamil

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is all set for his pan Indian debut with Pushpa and the film will release during Christmas in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Sukumar is the director and the shooting portions will be completed in August. Allu Arjun is quite fluent in Tamil and he decided to dub on himself for his role in Tamil. He will take a brief session of training in Tamil before he kick-starts the dubbing work. The first single of Pushpa will be out on August 13th in all the five languages.

Devi Sri Prasad composed the music and Rashmika is the heroine of Pushpa. The film is said to be the costliest film made in Bunny’s career and he plays a lorry driver in the movie. Allu Arjun’s look garnered a positive response from the audience. Mythri Movie Makers are betting big on this action entertainer. Allu Arjun will complete the shoot of Pushpa first part and he will commence the shoot of Icon in the direction of Sriram Venu from October.

Mega Prince Varun Tej lost huge weight and looked fit as Ghani in his upcoming boxing drama. He is also well trained in the sport before he commenced the shoot of the film. The climax portions of the film are shot currently in Hyderabad in a special boxing ring set that is erected specially for the movie. Kiran Korrapati is making his directorial debut with Ghani and Saiee Manjrekar is the leading lady. Upendra and Suniel Shetty will be playing other important roles in Ghani.

The makers announced that an update from the movie will be out this evening. The news we hear says that Ghani will release in theatres on November 4th during the Diwali weekend. Thaman composed the music and background score for Ghani. Allu Arjun’s elder brother Allu Bobby in association with Sidhu Mudda is making his debut as a producer with Ghani. The film is carrying good expectations.
