Macho Star Gopichand is testing his luck with Chanakya, a high voltage racy and stylish action thriller that is directed by Thiru. Gopichand plays a RAW officer in the film and Mehreen is the leading lady. The movie produced by AK Entertainments and is releasing across the globe today. Arjun Srikar (Gopichand) is a sincere RAW Officer who is committed for his country. Arjun and his team traces a lead who happens to be the close aide of the most wanted global terrorist Abdul Saleem Khureshi. They manage to get some crucial information from the aide after which Khureshi kidnaps the team of Arjun and moves them to Karachi. The rest of Chanakya is all about how Arjun completes the mission by nabbing Khureshi and saves his team. Watch Chanakya for more thrills and twists.

Gopichand steps out with some outstanding performances in the role of Arjun Srikar. His transformation has been top class and the actor excelled as RAW official with his loud performance throughout. Mehreen looks decent and the love story looks promising and entertaining. Rajesh Khattar has been fearless and roars loud with his performance as Abdul Saleem Khureshi. Upen Patel stuns the audience with a packed performance. Nassar and other actors did their jobs well.

Chanakya has an interesting script that is stuffed with enough twists. The racy screenplay and the gripping narration are the major highlights of the film. The music looks decent and the background scroe has been top class and suits the film well. The cinematography work excels and the production values have been top class. Thiru does a fantastic job as a director and keep the audience guessing with his interesting narration.


Chanakya is one of the best action thrillers in the recent times and the film stands tall because of the gripping narration and the racy screenplay. Give it a shot.
