Gopichand’s Chanakya Theatrical rights sold for a Bomb


Manly Star Gopichand has all his hopes on his next film titled Chanakya. The movie is said to be a high voltage action thriller that is directed by Thiru. Chanakya is the costliest film made in Gopichand’s career and it got delayed after Gopichand suffered an injury during the shoot of an action episode. The theatrical rights of Chanakya are sold for a bomb.

The theatrical rights of the film are valued at Rs 30 crores worldwide which is a record among Gopichand’s movies. All the other rights fetched Rs 15 crores for the makers. The total business of Chanakya is closed at Rs 45 crores. Gopichand plays a RAW Agent in this spy thriller and Mehreen is the leading lady. Vishal Chandrasekhar is the music director and Anil Sunkara produced Chanakya on AK Entertainments banner. The film releases on October 5th across the globe.
