Venky says no for Hindi Remake

There are talks that Victory Venkatesh will play the lead role in the remake of Bollywood blockbuster De De Pyar De which will roll next year. Suresh Babu acquired the remake rights of the film and the pre-production work kick-started recently. But with Nagarjuna’s recent film Manmadhudu 2 ending up as a dud and Nag receiving a lot of criticism for the film, Venky decided to stay away from De De Pyar De remake.

Venky felt that this would have an impact on his clean image and the women fan base the actor enjoys. De De  Pyar De is the story of a 50 plus man’s love story with a girl who is aged close to his daughter after his divorce with his wife. Sriwass is on board to direct the film and Suresh Productions are the producers. It is unclear about the project now. Venky is currently busy with Venky Mama which will release for Diwali this year.
