Rajasekhar’s Kalki Movie Review: 2.25/5 …. Action King Rajasekhar is back with Kalki after a decent hit like PSV Garudavega. Prashanth Varma is the director and Adah Sharma, Nandita Swetha played the female leads. Poojitha Ponnada, Scarlett Wilson, Rahul Ramakrishna, Nasser, Ashutosh Rana, Siddhu Jonnalagadda essayed other crucial roles in this action drama. C Kalyan bankrolled Kalki which is releasing across the globe today. Here is the complete review of Kalki:

Story:

Kalki is set in a deadly village named Kolhapur which gets shattered because of the rivalry between two gangs. After a major fight, Sekhar Babu gets killed and Kalki (Rajasekhar) gets appointed to investigate the murder episode. Kalki will be left in shock after going deep into the murder mystery. The rest of the film is all about the unfolded facts behind the mystery. Watch the film to know about the entire story.

Positives:

Rajasekhar’s performance
Production Values
Cinematography

Negatives:

Story, Screenplay and Direction
Too many actors
Twists unfolded at the wrong time

Performances:

Rajasekhar delivered out his best for Kalki and he has been sincere in every frame. Adah Sharma and Nandita Swetha got decent roles and they pulled out their roles well. Rahul Ramakrishna makes enough noise as a journalist in the film. Poojitha Ponnada and Siddhu Jonnalagadda have been decent in their part. Ashutosh Rana has been loud enough and all the other actors delivered their part well.

Kalki has a lean plot which is uninteresting. With a lot of noise and a bunch of actors, the screenplay and narration leave the audience in mild confusion. The dialogues too have not been effective. The production values and the cinematography are the only saviors for Kalki. The music and background score has been below the line. Prashanth Varma fails badly in churning out Kalki into an impressive piece of action drama.

Verdict:

Rajasekhar’s Kalki disappoints the audience big time as the film lacks interesting stuff and some exciting twists.
